E25: Not Where You Want to Be in Life? Here's How You Can Navigate that Feeling

Allison Fitzpatrick | Mind-Body Mentor Episode 25

“There's going to be times in our life where we may feel like we aren't where we want to be. Whether it's where we live, where we are in our personal life, or where we are in our business. The problem is we get so focused and hung up on not being where we want to be that we forget that the now is exactly where we are supposed to be.”

For most of the summer, we lived at our beach house in the Cape and I expected that returning to New Hampshire would be hard. What I didn't expect was this whole host of other feelings and thoughts that have come up since I got home.

So, in this episode of Your Time Is Now!, I want to talk about these feelings and emotions that have quite literally kept me awake. Because our minds can play crazy tricks on us, and if we aren't careful, we can easily let our ego take over.

We’re heading into fall in just a few weeks and lots of changes and resets are coming, so tune in to discover how to prepare for this new season.

In this episode:

  • Coming back into the swing of things after the summer
  • When ALL the thoughts just start taking over
  • Awareness of your thoughts and emotions is key
  • How you feel is up to you
  • The two voices in our heads
  • The fast track to where you want to be
  • What we resist persists
